Ronnie Brewer, Rockets agree to 2-year deal
Ronnie Brewer agreed to a two-year deal with the Houston Rockets on Monday, according to ESPN's Marc Stein. Brewer, who spent last season with the Knicks and Thunder, gives Houston some additional bench depth. Terms of the contract have not been released.
Brewer's playing time and scoring production have decreased in recent years, but he still can provide some value defensively. He started 34 games for New York before being shipped to Oklahoma City, where he was used sparingly. Prior to last season, he spent a couple of years with the Bulls.
