Andrew Luck getting the franchise quarterback treatment; is a very good choice for fantasy owners
Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck played 24 snaps in his preseason debut in 2012. Against the St. Louis Rams, Luck completed 10 of 16 passes for 188 yards and two touchdowns. Of those six incompletions, three were obvious drops by his receivers. He played a good amount in his first game.
On Sunday against the Buffalo Bills, Luck threw for just 51 yards with no touchdowns and no interceptions. Matt Hasselbeck threw for 75 yards and a touchdown and Chandler Harnish threw for 109 yards. So what changed?
Fantasy Impact: Luck is the face of the Colts these days, just like Peyton Manning was before him. Whether or not Luck will end up as good or even close to being as good as Manning was for the Colts is totally up in the air, but he's officially getting the franchise quarterback achievement and fantasy owners should have plenty of confidence in him going forward.
