Dustin Penner, Ducks agree to 1-year contract
The 30-year-old Penner signed with the Ducks in 2004 and played for Anaheim during the 2005-06 and 2006-07 seasons. He was part of the Ducks team, which won the Stanley Cup in 2007. He went on to play for Edmonton and Los Angeles after leaving the Ducks. Penner has played in 522 games during his NHL career, racking up 137 goals and 275 points.
Penner had one of the best seasons of his career during his first stint with the Ducks, scoring 29 goals and tallying 45 points during the 2006-07 season. He was second on the team in goals that season while setting the franchise rookie records for points, goals, power play goals and games played.
