Carl Crawford injury: Dodgers OF has back stiffness, scratched from lineup
Crawford hasn't made a start since Tuesday, when he went 1-for-4 in a victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks. He entered the game against the D-Backs on Wednesday as a pinch-hitter and stayed in to play left field. He finished that game 0-for-4, but singled in his lone plate appearance on Thursday in a win over the Colorado Rockies.
Crawford has already missed more than a month this season due to a hamstring injury. Since his return on July 5, the former All-Star outfielder is 2-for-25 at the plate. Despite Crawford's slump, the Dodgers are 6-1 since he came off the disabled list.
