Bryce Brown's dogs seized from facility in suspected fighting case
Philadelphia Eagles running back Bryce Brown had several dogs seized from a facility in a suspected fighting operation in Wisconsin, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer. Brown himself is not tied to the alleged operation.
A pit bull, Eilis, and her seven puppies were removed from the breeding kennel Northland Pits on May 21. Its owner, Joseph A. Sudbrink, was arrested and charged with mistreating animals. A humane officer said she saw scarring on the dogs and believed they were part of a fighting organization. Several dogs also contracted ringworm and were living in substandard conditions. The criminal investigation is ongoing.
