Bills plan to use Marquise Goodwin as slot WR
The Buffalo Bills emphasized offense during the 2013 NFL Draft. After drafting quarterback E.J. Manuel in the first round, the Bills surrounded him with weapons in wide receivers Robert Woods and Marquise Goodwin in rounds two and three.
Goodwin, who ran the 40-yard dash in 4.34 seconds at the 2013 NFL Scouting Combine, will play the slot in Buffalo, according to the Buffalo News.
At 5-feet-9-inches tall, Goodwin's potential will always be limited as an outside receiver. In fact, he has a lot of work to live up to his physical gifts regardless of where he lines up. A track star at Texas, Goodwin never fully put it together on the football field in terms of production.
