It was a light Monday around the minor-league circuit. Here are some highlights:

FLORIDA STATE LEAGUE (A)

St. Lucie 12, Clearwater 7: RHP Seranthony Dominguez gave up six earned runs in just 3.2 innings as the Threshers (23-28) dropped their eighth straight. 1B Wilson Garcia went 4-for-4, including his 12th homer of the season, to lead Clearwater's offense.

The visiting Mets scored eight runs in the fourth, including two when LF Tim Tebow singled with the bases loaded.

Tebow also walked twice and had his 30th birthday recognized with a cake during the game.

GULF COAST LEAGUE (Rookie)

Phillies 12, Yankees West 0: LF Ben Pelletier went 2-for-4 with two RBI to lead the rout.

Phillies 3, Yankees West 1: LHP Manuel Silva (5-0, 2.93) gave up one run in five innings to complete the sweep.

INTERNATIONAL LEAGUE (AAA)

Lehigh Valley (69-52) was idle. The IronPigs have dropped seven of their last nine to fall into a tie with Rochester, a Twins club. Both teams are a $20 cab ride from catching Scranton/Wilkes-Barre (Yankees), which leads the IL North by 8.5 games with about a month to go.

Lehigh Valley plays at Norfolk on Tuesday at 7 p.m. Tom Eshelman (8-3, 2.78 ERA) will start for the 'Pigs.

EASTERN LEAGUE (AA)

Reading (62-57) was idle. The Fightins are 16 games back of Trenton (Yankees) in the EL East.

Reading opens a three-game homestand on Tuesday at 7:05 p.m. Elniery Garcia (0-0, 2.25 ERA) will make his second start for the Phils. Garcia gave up one run in four innings on Aug. 9. He served an 80-game PED suspension earlier this year.

SOUTH ATLANTIC LEAGUE (A)

Lakewood (22-28) had an off-day. 1B Darick Hall was named the SAL player of the week after going 10-for-24 (.417) with three homers last week. Hall, who leads the league with 24 home runs and 83 RBI, tied the franchise's single-season home-run record on Sunday.

The BlueClaws host Kannapolis on Tuesday (7:05 p.m.) to start a six-game homestand. Bailey Falter (6-6, 3.21) is on the mound for Lakewood.

NEW YORK-PENN LEAGUE (A)

Williamsport (25-24) is on an All-Star break. The game is Tuesday at 7 p.m. in Troy, N.Y.

The five Crosscutters who were picked to play in the game are 1B Greg Pickett, OF Jhailyn Ortiz, RHP Randy Alcantara, RHP Luis Ramirez and LHP Kyle Young, who is 5-0 with a 1.81 ERA in nine starts this season.

Young, a 19-year-old lefty who was a 22nd-round pick of the Phillies in 2016, has 54 strikeouts in 44.2 innings and has not allowed a home run.
