IronPigs second baseman Scott Kingery extended his hitting streak to 16 games on Friday.

Quick run through Friday’s minor-league results for the Phillies farm system, and is there anything worse than soggy pork roll?

INTERNATIONAL LEAGUE (AAA)

Charlotte 8, Lehigh Valley 3: RHP Jake Thompson gave up six earned runs, including five in the second inning to fall to 5-13.
Thompson allowed seven hits, two homers, and four walks as Lehigh Valley lost for the 12th time in its last 15 games.

2B Scott Kingery had two more hits, including a double, to extend his hitting streak to 16 games. CF Carlos Tocci, making his first start at Triple-A, singled twice and SS J.P. Crawford (.241) had two doubles.

FLORIDA STATE LEAGUE (A)

Charlotte 3, Clearwater 2: RHP Sixto Sanchez gave up two runs in six innings, but did not fare in the decision.

2B Jose Antequera and 3B Emmanuel Marrero had the ninth-inning ribbies for the Threshers. Marrero tied it with a bunt single which scored RF Carlos Duran.

SOUTH ATLANTIC LEAGUE (A)
