2009: Jamie Moyer

A graduate of Souderton Area High School and St. Joseph's University, Jamie Moyer was drafted by the Chicago Cubs in the sixth round of the 1984 amateur draft. He played with the Chicago Cubs (1986–1988), Texas Rangers (1989–1990), St. Louis Cardinals (1991), Baltimore Orioles (1993–1995), Boston Red Sox (1996) and Seattle Mariners (1996–2006) before coming back to Philadelphia. He joined his hometown Phillies in 2006 and was a key member of the starting rotation during the run to the 2008 World Series Championship.
