How are the Phillies' top 10 prospects, as ranked by MLB.com, faring in the minor leagues? (Weekly stats from May 27 to June 2.)

J.P. Crawford

SS, Lehigh Valley (AAA)

Friday marked two weeks since Crawford was promoted to triple A. He has eight hits in his first 43 at-bats. He has walked seven times and struck out nine times in 12 games. He has been hitless in seven of those games. The adjustment to triple A has not been a breeze for the prospect, but that adjustment was expected to take time.

Jake Thompson

RHP, Lehigh Valley (AAA)

Thompson was rocked on May 31 to spoil what had been a good month. He had a 1.93 ERA in five May starts before allowing six runs in 3 2/3 innings. Thompson was limited by an ineffective curveball. He finished May with 27 strikeouts in 36 1/3 innings.

Nick Williams

OF, Lehigh Valley (AAA)

Williams continues to have an up-and-down season. He entered Friday hitless in his last eight at-bats and is batting .259 since the beginning of May. He's batting .283 with two homers and a .358 on-base percentage since May 15. As bad as the Phillies outfield situation is, there does not seem to be a reason to rush Williams and sacrifice his development.

He allowed two runs on Thursday night, but walked five batters in 5 1/3 innings. It was the first time he walked more than two batters since April 13.
