This week's pitching schedule

CLEARWATER, Fla. — We're at that time of spring training where innings are sparce and the pitching schedule says a lot about who the coaching staff wants to evaluate. With the starters up to 65-70 pitches, there are fewer innings in relief.

The Phillies do have a split squad day Thursday, so that provides some innings for lesser candidates. Pitching coach Rich Dubee will travel to Port Charlotte, Fla., to watch the arms there.
