Report: Brewers, Blue Jays still interested in Jonathan Papelbon
The chances of the Phillies dealing Jonathan Papelbon appear to still have life, according to Todd Zolecki of MLB.com.
Zolecki cites two sources that told him that the Milwaukee Brewers and the Toronto Blue Jays are still in serious talks with the Phillies over Papelbon's services.
According to Zolecki, both the Brewers and Blue Jays are in need of a closer and Papelbon would seemingly fill that need for both teams.
Last season, Papelbon made 39 saves in 43 opportunities and recorded 2.04 ERA.
