Phillies pick up another walk-off win
The law of averages continued to repay the Phillies on Wednesday afternoon as the team recorded its third walk-off victory in four days, and its fourth straight late-innings victory in a 7-6 win over the Brewers.
After the Brewers scored to take a 6-5 lead in the top of the 10th, Erik Kratz hit a one-out double to move John Mayberry to third base, Carlos Ruiz tied the game on a pinch-hit sacrifice fly, and Jimmy Rollins won it with a line drive single to center field.
Antonio Bastardo allowed two runs in the top of the eighth inning to squander a 5-3 Phillies lead.
The Phillies improved to 45-54, 8-4 since the All-Star Break.
