Here's how the Phillies' minor-league teams fared on Sunday, July 12:

Lehigh Valley IronPigs (40-51) – Triple A

A dominant pitching performance from Anthony Vasquez and a productive seventh inning lifted the IronPigs to a 4-0 victory over the Pawtucket Red Sox at McCoy Stadium in Pawtucket, R.I.

Vasquez picked up only his second victory of the season after tossing eight scoreless innings and yielding only four hits. He made work easy for Adam Loewen, who earned his fifth save.

Red Sox pitcher Steven Wright kept the IronPigs off the scoreboard until the seventh inning, when the IronPigs plated four runs. Three came on a home run by Logan Moore.

Moore, Cord Phelps and Chase d'Arnaud recorded two hits apiece.

The IronPigs are off until Thursday because of the Triple-A All-Star Game, scheduled for Wednesday night in Omaha, Neb. When they return to action, it will be in Rochester, N.Y. for a four-game set against the Rochester Red Wings.

Reading Fightin Phils (48-42) – Double-A

The Fightin Phils got off to a fast start and never looked back during a 7-2 win over the Akron RubberDucks at Canal Park in Akron, Ohio.

Reading scored four runs in the first three innings,  thanks in part to a two-run homer from Brock Stassi during the first. The homer was his eighth of the season.

Stassi was one of four Fightin Phils to get two hits. Joining him were Andrew Knapp, who also drove in a pair of runs, as well as Kelly Dugan and Devin Lohman.

Starting pitcher Hoby Milner didn't factor into the decision after allowing one run on four hits in four innings. He also walked four.

Joely Rodriguez earned the victory after allowing only one run on five hits in 3.1 innings of relief.

The Fightin Phils are also off until Thursday because of an all-star game. For Reading, it is the Eastern League game Wednesday in Portland, Maine. The Fightin Phils next will host the New Britain Rock Cats for a four-game series.

Clearwater Threshers (50-38) – Class A-Advanced

A strong outing for pitcher Brandon Leibrandt and a balanced offensive effort helped the Threshers earn a 4-1 victory over the Fort Myers Miracle at CenturyLink Sports Complex in Fort Myers, Fla.

Leibrandt let up only one run on six hits during six innings to earn his sixth win of the season. Ulises Joaquin tossed one scoreless inning for his 10th save.

The Threshers received hits from all but one member of the batting order. Rhys Hoskins and Carlos Tocci led the way by each going 2 for 5. Tocci, Malquin Canelo and Derek Campbell each drove in a run.

The Threshers will go for a series victory over the Miracle at 7:05 p.m. Monday. Ricardo Pinto (2-1, 3.46 ERA) is scheduled to start for Clearwater.

Lakewood BlueClaws (43-43) – Class A

The BlueClaws shook off an early deficit on their way to defeating the Hickory Crawdads, 7-4, to earn a series victory.

Lakewood fell behind by 3-0 in the first inning after Phillies pitcher Jerome Williams yielded a two-run homer. Williams pitched four innings and allowed four runs on six hits. He also recorded five strikeouts.

Will Morris pitched the rest of the way and allowed only four hits to get his first win of the season.

After the Crawdads plated three runs in the first inning, the BlueClaws answered with four during the bottom of the frame. After getting a run in the third, the BlueClaws scored two insurance runs during the eighth.

Cord Sandberg and Kyle Martin led the BlueClaws on offense by each going 3 for 4. Sandberg drove in three runs, and  Deivi Grullon (2 for 4) knocked in two.

After taking down the Crawdads, the BlueClaws have Monday off. They will return to the field at 7:05 p.m. Tuesday when they take on the Kannapolis Intimidators at CMC-NorthEast Stadium in Kannapolis, N.C.

Williamsport Crosscutters (17-5) – Class A-Short Season

A bases-loaded walk in the bottom of the eighth inning put the Crosscutters ahead for good during a 3-2 victory over the Connecticut Tigers at Bowman Field in Williamsport. The win was the Crosscutters' fourth in a row and earned a series victory over the Tigers.

Each team recorded only five hits. The Crosscutters used four pitchers, with starter Luke Leftwich getting a no-decision after allowing only two hits in three innings. After blowing a save opportunity, Juan Figueroa was credited with the victory, his first of the year.

Robert Tasin posted his fifth save.

A two-run homer from Jan Hernandez highlighted the Crosscutters' offensive outing during the second inning. The homer was his fourth of the campaign.

Jose Pujols was the only Crosscutter to record more than one hit.

The Crosscutters will attempt to push their winning streak to five games and earn a sweep of the Tigers at 7:05 p.m. Monday. Luis Morales (0-1, 2.45 ERA) is slated to start for Williamsport.
