Here's how the Phillies' minor league teams fared on Thursday, April 23:

Lehigh Valley IronPigs – Triple A

The IronPigs had a rough night on the diamond, falling to Buffalo 11-1 at CocaCola Park. The Bisons hopped on the Pigs early, going up 3-0 after just three innings. They scored in six of the nine innings.

Paul Clemens had a forgettable start for Lehigh Valley. He went 5.2 innings, giving up eight hits and five earned runs. He did strike out six, but also walked three. Tyler Knigge did not have any more success, coming in for 1.1 innings of relief and giving up five earned runs of his own.

Dom Brown continued his struggles at the plate in his rehab stint with the IronPigs. He was 0-for-4 on the day, bringing his season total to 3-for-24. Catcher Tommy Joseph drove in the only run on the day, going 2-for-4 on the day.

Lehigh Valley continues its series with Buffalo on Friday at 7:05 p.m.

Reading Fightin Phils – Double-A

The Fightin Phils' offense was nonexistent Thursday, as they fell, 3-0, to the Harrisburg Senators at Metro Bank Park.

Aaron Nola delivered a solid start for Reading, striking out a season-high six batters over seven innings and giving up just two runs on six hits.

Reading was able to muster just six hits and left seven men on base.

Center fielder Roman Quinn was 1-for-4 with a double and is batting .392 on the year.

Second baseman Carlos Alonso and catcher Gabriel Lino were both 2-for-4 with a strikeout.

Reading is back in action Friday at 6:30 p.m., as they continue their series in Harrisburg. Jesse Biddle (1-0, 1.64 ERA) is scheduled to start for the Fightin Phils.

Clearwater Threshers – Class A-Advanced

The Threshers were unable to hang on to an early lead in Lakeland, Fla. and fell, 5-2, to the Flying Tigers on Thursday at Joker Marchant Stadium.

Clearwater took a two-run lead in the top of the second inning, but the Flying Tigers answered with four runs in the third and tacked on a fifth run in the fifth inning.

Miguel Nunez lasted just four innings, surrendering five runs (four earned) on eight hits in his losing effort.

Mark Leiter was able to stop the bleeding, striking out eight batters in four innings of scoreless relief.

Right fielder Dylan Cozens was 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored.

Second baseman Brodie Greene was 2-for-4, bumping his average to .324 for the year.

Clearwater continues their series with Lakeland on Friday at 6:30 p.m. Righty Colin Kleven (0-1, 8.18 ERA) is slated to start for the Threshers.

Lakewood BlueClaws – Class A

Lakewood was the only of the Phillies' farm clubs to take home a victory, winning 4-0 over Hagerstown at FirstEnergy Stadium. Tyler Viza had a great start for the BlueClaws, going 7.1 innings and only giving up three hits. He walked two and struck out six in his third win of the season. Jesen Therrian came in for the 1.2 inning save and was successful, giving up just one hit.

Malquin Canelo had the best day at the plate for Lakewood, going 3-for-4 with two doubles. Carlos Tocci added a double for his only hit in three plate appearances. He is hitting .370 on the season.

Lakewood and Hagerstown play the second game of their series on the Jersey Shore Friday night at 7:05 p.m.
