Here's how the Phillies' minor league teams fared on Wednesday, July 1:

Lehigh Valley IronPigs – Triple A

The IronPigs fell behind early, but were able to make a comeback to win, 3-2, in 10 innings. Scranton/WB scored the first two runs of the game, but Lehigh tied the score in the seventh and won it with a Russ Canzler line drive that drove in Tyler Henson.

Henson, Canzler and Chris McGuinness were the only IronPigs to register multiple hits, accounting for two apiece. Scranton ended the night with more hits (11) than Lehigh (10), but was just 2 for 14 with runners in scoring position.

Dustin McGowan started for the IronPigs. He went four innings and gave up both runs, earning a no-decision. Juan Gutierrez got the win thanks to a scoreless 10th inning.

Lehigh will start a series with Rochester on Thursday night at 7:05.

Reading Fightin Phils – Double-A

Ben Lively finally got on the right track for Reading, turning in a quality start on his way to helping his team to a 3-1 win over New Britain. Lively went five innings, giving up six hits and just one run, in his sixth win of the season. He pitched to two batters in the sixth inning before being pulled. The bullpen went four scoreless innings to seal the Fightin Phils win.

Andrew Knapp continued to be productive after being called up, going 1 for 5 with two RBIs in the win. Brock Stassi went 2 for 3 and accounted for the other Reading RBI.

Reading and New Britain will continue their series Thursday night at 7:05.

Clearwater Threshers – Class A-Advanced

Andrew Pullin had a three-RBI night in Clearwater's 5-1 victory over the Tampa Yankees. He was 1 for 3, but the one was a three-run homer that tipped the balance of the game in favor of Clearwater in the first inning. The Threshers racked up 11 hits.

The Threshers won with pitching. They allowed just one Yankee to reach scoring position. Victor Arano got the start and the win, improving to 2-7. He gave up just one run in six innings and yielded all four hits.

Tampa and Clearwater meet again on Thursday at 7:00 p.m.

Lakewood BlueClaws – Class A

The BlueClaws fell to the Delmarva Shorebirds, 2-0, at Arthur W. Perdue Stadium.

Starter Tyler Viza pitched 7 ⅔ innings and allowed two runs on seven hits. Viza struck out seven and was charged with his third loss of the season.

Designated hitter Damek Tomscha went 2 for 4 and is batting .292 this season for Lakewood.

The BlueClaws continue their series with Delmarva at 7:05 p.m. on Thursday.

Williamsport Crosscutters – Short-Season A

The Crosscutters defeated the Auburn Doubledays, 5-4, in an 11-inning game Wednesday at  Bowman Field.

Pitcher Anthony Sequeira pitched a scoreless inning in relief and earned his first win of the season.

Center fielder Carlos Duran went 2 for 4 with a home run and two RBIs.
