Here's how the Phillies' minor league teams fared on Monday, April 13:

Lehigh Valley IronPigs – Triple A

The IronPigs allowed two runs in the top of the ninth, which led to them coughing up a 5-4 decision to the Syracuse Chiefs Monday at Coca-Cola Field in Allentown.

The IronPigs held a 4-3 advantage heading into the ninth inning with Cesar Jimenez on the mound. Instead of securing his first save of the season, Jimenez allowed two hits and both of Syracuse's runs to collect his first loss and blown save of the season. In two innings total, Jimenez allowed two runs on three hits.

Lehigh Valley recorded nine hits offensive with center fielder Darin Mastroianni and Brian Bogusevic leading the way with two apiece.

A night after being the hero in the 16th inning, Russ Canzler hammered a pinch-hit solo home run, which was his first of the season.

After dropping the series opener, the IronPigs will take the field again to play the Chiefs at 7:05 p.m. Tuesday. Lefty Joely Rodriguez (0-1, 4.50 ERA) will take the mound for Lehigh Valley.

Reading Fightin Phils – Double-A

Despite a strong outing from pitcher Tom Windle, a pair of homers from a familiar face sunk the Fightin Phils during a 4-3 loss to the New Hampshire Fisher Cats at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium in Manchester, N.H.

Windle tossed six innings where he allowed only one run on nine hits and struck out four batters. But former Fightin Phil Jake Fox haunted his old team by providing all of the offense for the Fisher Cats. He first struck during the sixth with a solo home run off Windle.

He struck again during the eighth with a three-run homer off relief pitcher Elvis Araujo that put the Fisher Cats in front for good. Araujo was dealt his first blown save and loss of the season as a result. Fox finished the contest 3-for-3 with two homers and four RBI.

Leading the way offensively for Reading was center fielder Roman Quinn, who went 3-for-4 from the plate with an RBI, a double and a triple.

First baseman Brock Stassi and designated hitter Art Charles each posted two hits. Right fielder Brian Pointer went yard as well during the sixth inning for his first of the campaign.

After falling to .500, the Fightin Phils will take on the Fisher Cats again at 5:35 p.m. Tuesday. Ben Lively will see his first start of the season for Reading.

Clearwater Threshers – Class A-Advanced

A rough start for pitcher Colin Klevin contributed to the Threshers dropping their second in a row, this time to the Jupiter Hammerheads by a score of 8-1 at Roger Dean Stadium in Jupiter, Fla.

Klevin ran into trouble from the start of his outing as he gave up two hits and a walk during the first inning, which resulted in a run for the Hammerheads.

Klevin's night ended after five innings where he allowed seven runs on 11 hits. He was handed his first loss of the season in the process.

The other noteworthy tidbit from this contest was Phillies outfielder Domonic Brown making his fourth rehab start in Clearwater. During seven innings of play in right field, Brown went 2-for-3 from the plate and drove in Clearwater's lone run during the sixth inning.

Unfortunately for the Threshers, they only recorded six hits total due to a dominant effort from the Jupiter pitching staff.

The Threshers will play Game 2 of their four-game set with the Hammerheads at 6:35 p.m. Tuesday. Clearwater's starting pitcher was not determined as of this writing.

Lakewood BlueClaws – Class A

The BlueClaws improved their record to 3-2 Monday, with a 4-1 win over the Greensboro Grasshoppers at FirstEnergy Park Lakewood Township, N.J.

Chris Oliver picked up his first win of the season with a strong season debut for Lakewood. Oliver struck out five batters in five innings of work.

Austin Davis and Matt Hockenberry each pitched two scoreless innings in relief for the BlueClaws. Hockenberry earned his first save of the season in the process.

Center fielder Carlos Tocci continued his hot streak, going 2-for-3 with three RBI in Monday's win.

First baseman Damek Tomscha knocked in the BlueClaws other run.

Lakewood continues their series with Greensboro at 6:35 p.m. Tuesday at FirstEnergy Park. Left-hander Elniery Garcia will start for Lakewood.
