Keith Olbermann does not care for Barry Bonds.
Bonds' past as the symbol of Everything Wrong with Baseball Won't Somebody Please Think of the Children is inescapable. I'm pretty sure Bonds would tell you that.
To heap endless insults on Bonds is to spew the venom of the Steroid Era onto one guy, and that's just not how it works. Baseball looked away at the time, as did the writers who so gleefully scorn the wrongdoers of today.
But that's how Olbermann gets the attention he wants; by taking the side of an issue he believes to be more heavily populated, then dragging it to the most insane level of perspective-less rhetoric that you can get out of a rehearsed speech.
