All fans attending Tuesday's game receive a Hunter Pence bobblehead, plus a special message from the departed outfielder.

Pence was traded to San Francisco at the deadline, but the Phillies decided to go ahead with the promotion because the figurines were already made.

It's a bit awkward, thus the Phillies reached out to Pence for his blessing. Not only did he agree the promotion should continue, but he provided a message to fans that was included on a postcard also distributed.

It reads:

"Thanks, Phillies fans, for the great memories. I'm glad my Bobble Figurine will still be given out even though I'm no longer in Philadelphia. I hope it will serve as a lasting reminder of my time there. It was a year of my career that I will never forget.

- Hunter Pence"

Pence is hitting .211 with a .592 OPS in 19 games for the Giants. He has struck out in nearly a third of his at-bats.
