Phillies raise some ticket prices for 2010
Coming off their second straight World Series appearance and third straight National League East title, the Phillies have raised some ticket prices for 2010.
Not counting premium seating (Diamond Club, Hall of Fame Level), season prices will vary from no increase to $2 per ticket.
Most individual-game tickets will cost $2 to $4 more.
"For us, raising ticket prices is never easy," said John Weber, vice president of sales and ticket operations. "We hope our fans enjoy 2010 as much as they enjoyed 2008 and 2009. We feel we have a special connection with our fans and that it continues."
The Phillies sold out Citizens Bank Park 73 times in 81 home dates last season and had only three crowds of fewer than 40,000 all year. The record total of 3,600,693 is actually more than 100 percent of the listed seating capacity, because of standing-room-only sales.
Season plans will go on sale beginning Tuesday. The team will begin selling six-pack packages Dec. 4, group sales on Jan. 13 and individual-game tickets on Feb. 18.
