Roster moves

The Oakland Athletics activated outfielder Coco Crisp from the disabled list Wednesday and put him into the lineup as the leadoff hitter against the Minnesota Twins. The Kansas City Royals activated all-star closer Greg Holland from the disabled list and optioned reliever Yohan Pino to triple-A Omaha. Holland had been out since April 18 so that he could rest a chest muscle that had been causing him problems.
