Jesse Biddle fans 10 in Reading victory

Phillies prospect Jesse Biddle continues to mow down hitters in the Eastern League. Biddle struck out 10 batters and allowed one hit over six shutout innings Sunday as the host Reading Fightin Phils beat the New Hampshire Fisher Cats, 2-1, in 12 innings.

Phillies prospect Jesse Biddle continues to mow down hitters in the Eastern League. Biddle struck out 10 batters and allowed one hit over six shutout innings Sunday as the host Reading Fightin Phils beat the New Hampshire Fisher Cats, 2-1, in 12 innings.

Last Monday, the former Germantown Friends star struck out 16 in a 3-2 victory in Harrisburg.

The 21-year-old lefthander walked three New Hampshire batters. He has a 1.74 ERA.
