After playing second base in Monday night's game, Chase Utley will return to designated hitter for the Clearwater Threshers on Tuesday as his rehab assignment continues.

Utley, with his ailing knees, played six innings in the field during the Threshers' win over Dunedin on Monday night.

He went 1-for-4 at the plate with an RBI and a strikeout. He is now hitting .118 (2 for 17) with two RBI in four Florida State League games.

He will bat third Tuesday night as the series continues against Dunedin, a Blue Jays affilifate.

Righthander Perci Garner, the Phillies' second-round draft pick in 2010 from Ball State, starts for the Threshers. He is 3-3 with a 5.05 ERA in 12 starts.

Barring a setback, Utley has 20 days to return from the rehab assignment, which began June 12.
