The Dodgers' Clayton Kershaw won the NL Cy Young award but the Phillies' Roy Halladay, Cliff Lee and Cole Hamels finished in the Top 5.

Kershaw, who accomplished the pitching Triple Crown by leading the league in wins, ERA and strikeouts, received 27 of the possible 32 first-place votes and totaled 207 points.

Halladay, last year's winner, finished second with four first-place votes and 133 points. Cliff Lee finished third with 90 points and Cole Hamels was fifth with 17 points.

Kershaw, Halladay and Lee were named on every ballot. In all, 12 pitchers received at least one vote.

The other first-place vote went to the Diamondbacks' Ian Kennedy, who finished fourth overall.

At 23, Kershaw is the youngest Cy Young Award winner since 20-year-old Dwight Gooden, of the New York Mets, in 1985.
