Pitching matchup: Phillies RHP Roy Oswalt (3-0, 1.88) at Diamondbacks RHP Daniel Hudson (0-4, 5.92)

Oswalt vs. Diamondbacks: Oswalt has pitched exactly six innings in each of his four starts, never allowing more than two runs. His last outing came 5 days after he left a start early with back spasms. He responded by holding the Padres to one hit in six scoreless innings.

Phillies vs. Hudson: Hudson is looking to bounce back from his first rocky outing of the season, a 7-4 loss to the Reds in which he walked four and allowed seven runs in 5 innings. He had lost his previous three starts despite allowing just nine earned runs in 19 innings. Two starts ago, Hudson struck out 10 in six innings against the Giants.

FYI: The Phillies entered last night having scored 32 runs over 11 games, but were two victories shy of matching their club record for wins in April, 17 set in 1993.
