You Talkin' to Me? Hall-star performance might not be enough
From: Fox, Ashley To: Fitzpatrick, Frank; Gonzalez, John Re: Hall-aday I'm ready to put Roy Halladay in the Hall with Robin Roberts and Steve Carlton. He's smoked through his first three starts. But what do you make of the rest of the Phillies' rotation? Cole hasn't looked great. Happ and Kendrick have been shaky, at best. The schedule is about to pick up. Is the offense so good it will mask the pitching problems, or should fans be worried?

Re: Hall-aday
If this team gets any kind of help from the people you mention and the bullpen, it will win 100 games. If not, it will fight it out with the Braves and Marlins.

Re: Hall-aday
Cole has been OK. He's off to a better start this year than last season (not hard, I know). And they're hitting and playing well and, more important, winning.
I'm not worried at all. But it's 10 p.m. and I've been drinking, so who can tell?

Re: Hall-aday
I was going to start this thread like this: "Have you noticed Gonzo's head, no longer tilted, has inflated since he got on the radio as Vai's step-and-fetch?" But I didn't think that'd be appropriate here. Obviously, I was wrong.

I don't think we're allowed to mention the radio, are we? BTW: I prefer toady or lobotomy case.

I guess you can say it's gone to his head.
