Busy night ahead at sports complex
Fans are urged to arrive earlier than usual and take public transportation to the sports complex tonight because of Phillies and Flyers games.
The Flyers host the Florida Panthers at 7 o'clock, and the Phillies host the Atlanta Braves at 7:05.
Ashburn Alley gates at Citizens Bank Park open at 4:35 p.m. and all other gates open at 5:35. Doors at the Wachovia Center will open at 5:30.
SEPTA will have additional Broad Street Line subway service, including "sports express" service trains. Message boards will direct fans to the various parking lots.
Phillies fans are encouraged to park in the lots north of Pattison Avenue. All lots are available for cash parking with the exception of Lots P and Q, which are Phillies preferred parking.
Parking for both events also is available in FDR Park, the former Naval Hospital site on Pattison Avenue, and a lot on the east side of 7th Street and Pattison Avenue. *
