Braves update: Atlanta starters entered last night having allowed just 13 home runs in 203 2/3 innings, the best mark in baseball. The Phillies were second in the majors with 54 home runs ... The Braves are just 1-11 in one-run games, including a 5-4 loss to the Phillies 2 nights ago ... The Braves entered last night 5-15 on the road, the worst mark in the majors. They do, however, have the best home record in the majors (14-4) ... Braves 1B Mark Teixeira made his first start in two games after recovering from back spasms.
Phillies update: Closer Brad Lidge saw his streak of 17 consecutive appearances without an earned run end 2 nights ago. Only Roger McDowell had more appearances to start his Phillies career without allowing an earned run, when he went 20 games in 1989 ... The Phillies entered last night having converted 22 of 27 stolen-base attempts (81.5 percent), the second-best mark in the NL ... The Phillies lead all MLB teams with 13 come-from-behind wins ...
