Braves update: Reyes left his last start in the third inning with a blister on his left index finger ... Opponents are hitting .300 off Reyes this season, who was called up from the minors after righthander John Smoltz was placed on the disabled list with an inflamed biceps tendon ... Reyes faced the Phillies once last season, pitching 3 1/3 innings of relief in a 5-2 loss in September. He gave up one run on three hits, walked four and struck out one ... The Braves faced Kendrick twice last season, scoring five runs on 12 hits in 11 innings ... 3B Chipper Jones was 2-for-6 with a home run and three RBI off of Kendrick last season.
Phillies update: This is the first series of the season against the Braves. The Phillies have lost each of their first three series against National League East opponents ...
