Single-game Phils tix go on sale

This morning, fans got their first chance to buy tickets to almost every Phillies game without purchasing a multigame package.

The rush began at 7:30 a.m. when the online sale started at www.phillies.com. Promos and links to the ticket page are plastered all over the page.

From 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., tickets can also be had by calling 215-463-1000 or by dropping by the ticket windows, next to the Majestic Clubhouse Store, on the west side of Citizens Bank Park.

Red Sox games and the home opener are the only games not available individually. To get tickets to those games, fans must buy a season-ticket or six-game plan, or be selected in an online lottery.

For links to some of the pertinent Phillies pages, see "Related stories" list at right.

After today, the hours for walk-up purchases at the ballpark's first-base gate are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. Weekend sales, which start March 1, will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
