Game 54: Victorino Returns To The Starting Lineup

Friday’s 6-4 win over the Miami Marlins was the first game that centerfielder Shane Victorino didn’t start due to a cortisone shot he received that morning in his right hand.

Friday’s 6-4 win over the Miami Marlins was the first game that centerfielder Shane Victorino didn’t start due to a cortisone shot he received that morning in his right hand.

Victorino was used briefly as a defensive replacement, but he’s back in the lineup for this afternoon’s 4:05 p.m. game with the Marlins.

Cole Hamels (8-1, 2.43) opposes Miami RHP Ricky Nolasco (5-3, 4.26).
