Phillies pitchers and catchers will report to spring training on Feb. 14 before opening their Grapefruit League schedule just nine days later as part of a truncated camp because of baseball's new collective bargaining agreement.

The team will have its first full-squad workout in Clearwater, Fla., on Feb.  19 and play the University of Tampa in an exhibition at Spectrum Field on Feb. 22. They will open Grapefruit League play Feb. 23 in Dunedin, Fla., against the Blue Jays and play 33 Grapefruit games in 33 days, with two off days and two sets of split-squad games. The Phillies will break camp after a March 27 game against Pittsburgh and open the regular season March 29 in Atlanta.
