Joe Jensen and Kyle Brodziak each added a goal and an assist for Wilkes-Barre/Scranton , which has won four of its last five games. Goaltender Jeff Drouin-Deslauriers made 24 saves.
John Slaney and Denis Tolpeko scored for Philadelphia (28-35-2-6), while goalie Scott Munroe stopped 29 of 32 shots.
With the score tied at 1-1 in the second period, Filewich scored both goals within 43 seconds to give the Penguins a 3-1 lead.
