Phantoms lose fourth straight

Hershey's Chad Wiseman scored a hat trick and added an assist, and the Bears scored five goals in the second period on the way to a 6-1 victory over the Phantoms in an American Hockey League game at the Wachovia Spectrum last night.

Tomas Fleischmann registered a goal and an assist for Hershey (29-8-3-5). Goaltender Davis Parley made 21 saves to win his AHL debut. Matt Hendricks and Dave Steckel also scored for the Bears.

Frederik Cabana scored for for the Phantoms (15-24-2-3), who lost their fourth straight. Goalie Martin Houle allowed six goals on 21 shots before being replaced by Michael Leighton at the start of the third period.

Wiseman opened the scoring at 12:12 of the first with a power-play goal, scoring on a rebound. He added his second at 6:16 of the second on a wrist shot, then completed his hat trick with another power-play goal at 8:26 for his 13th of the season. *
