Mo'ne Davis is getting into movies.

After becoming a successful shoe designer and author, the pride of the Taney Dragons will now have a movie made about her life, courtesy of the Disney Channel.

The title is Throw Like Mo.

Davis will consult on the film from Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants producer Debra Martin Chase.

"There are so many great things happening to me right now and it's a very exciting time in my life. A year ago, I never would have thought that Disney Channel would make a movie about me. I can't wait to get started and I hope it will encourage other viewers to believe that dreams really do come true," Davis said in a statement.

This isn't the first time Davis has had a high-profile camera turned her way. Last year, Spike Lee came to Philly to make the Chevrolet-produced Throw Like a Girl short.
