The Kixx (16-11) are alone in second place, a half-game behind Detroit. Three games remain in the regular season, and they can lock up a playoff berth with a win today in Milwaukee.

Morris capitalized on a power play late in the second period to tie the game, 5-5.

Ptah Myers gave the Kixx their first lead less than a minute later, and D'Ambra extended it on a pass from Tony Donatelli, putting the Kixx up, 9-5, at halftime.

D'Ambra made it 11-7 in the fourth period with his team-leading 28th goal of the season.
