The Philadelphia Passion's undefeated season continued Sunday as they won their second consecutive Eastern Conference title and advanced to Lingerie Bowl IX thanks to a 44-32 win over the Tampa Bay Breeze at the Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario, California.

Led by quarterback and game MVP Christy Bell, the Passion - who blew out the Tampa Bay Breeze 48-0 in their regular-season opener - raced out to an early 14-0 advantage and never relinquished the lead.

The Breeze cut the deficit to 20-16 late in the first half, but Passion running back Marirose Roach, who tallied three touchdowns on the day, scored with just five seconds remaining before halftime to halt Tampa Bay's momentum.

Tampa Bay threatened again in the second half, but were never able to catch the Passion, whose high-powered offense seemed to have an answer for everything the Breeze threw at them.

Lingerie Bowl IX will have a familiar feel, as the Passion will face the Los Angeles Temptation in a rematch of last year's championship. The Passion will be out for revenge after dropping a heartbreaker to the Temptation, 26-25, last season.

The Lingerie Bowl will be played Sunday at Orleans Arena in Las Vegas.
