Nick Foles on 'Jimmy Kimmel': Tom Brady still hasn't spoken to me

Nick Foles hit up Kimmel. Guess who hasn't reached out post-Super Bowl?

In the time since the Eagles beat the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LII earlier this month, Nick Foles says he has received about 700 congratulatory messages from family, friends, and colleagues.

But not one of those messages has been from Tom Brady.

"I haven't heard from him yet," Foles said in an interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Thursday. "I know he's busy. I know he's got a lot going on."

Brady infamously neglected to shake Foles' hand following the Patriots' loss at the Super Bowl this year. Foles, however, attributed the snub to the intensity of the moment.

"I will say this: As soon as the game's over, you can't move," the Super Bowl MVP said. "You can't even express emotions. There's so many cameras. I mean, you have to have a blocker in front of you. I was about to get Jason Kelce and say, 'Hey, bro, can you come with me for five minutes?'"

As a peace offering, Kimmel suggested Brady send Foles a pair of Uggs.

"I do like Uggs," Foles said.

The Eagles quarterback also has an affinity for Eagles fans, who mostly just cry when they meet him following the Super Bowl win, as he told Kimmel.

"It starts off as a normal conversation and then it turns into tears," he said. "And I simply just say, 'I understand.' Trust me, I've been in Philly. I get it. I know. And it means a lot."

Whether Foles will stay on the Birds as backup quarterback to a healthy Carson Wentz next season, however, still is not clear. Though, Foles did tell Kimmel he wants to stay in Philly.

"We love Philly," he said. "You know, that stuff's out of my control. My agents, they handle all that. But we love Philly. We love the situation, and we'll worry about it when that time comes."

Foles' appearance on Kimmel follows a guest spot on The Ellen DeGeneres Show earlier this week, where Foles gave a similar answer to a question about his future as an Eagle, saying that he wanted to focus on his family for the time being.

"All I want to do is be with my wife, be with my daughter," he said.
