Wacker helps Kixx end slide

NEWARK, N.J. - Steve Wacker scored his first goal of the season with just over five minutes to play last night as the Kixx beat the New Jersey Ironmen, 10-8, in the MISL.

The defending champion Kixx (3-7) ended a three-game losing streak. The expansion Ironmen fell to 5-3.

Wacker and fellow Temple graduates Tony Donatelli and Ryan Heins scored for the Kixx. For Heins, his second-quarter goal was the first of his professional indoor career.

Donatelli began the night's scoring when he put the Kixx up by 2-0 in the first period.
