Slowed by injuries and plagued by penalties, the Kixx lost to the Chicago Storm, 6-2, last night in the MISL.
The Kixx fell to 9-5 while the Storm improved to 9-8 in front of 7,251 at the Wachovia Spectrum.
The Kixx' only goal came from MISL defender of the week Pat Morris.
Chicago was 2 for 2 on power plays against the league's best penalty-killing unit.
John Barry Nusum and Casey Barton did not dress for the Kixx because of injuries. Player-coach Don D'Ambra and target Shawn Boney each played just one half.
