Rock N Roll Heaven rallied in the stretch to beat One More Laugh by 2 1/2 lengths to win the $500,000 Battle of Brandywine during "Super Stakes Sunday" yesterday at Harrah's Chester Casino and Racetrack.

Rock N Roll Heaven, with driver Dan Dube, paced the mile in 1:47.3, setting a track and stakes record despite the sloppy surface. Tim Tetrick drove One More Laugh.

"When I saw a few horses leaving, I decided to take back and try to work out a trip," Dube said. "I knew if I could get behind One More Laugh that he would carry me to the stretch, and he did. My horse actually won pretty easy."

Rock N Roll Heaven won for the 11th time in 21 lifetime starts and has career earnings of more than $1.5 million.

We Will See, with Brett Miller, was third in the field of eight 3-year-old pacing colts and geldings.

Hambeltonian runner-up Lucky Chucky beat a field of eight in the $500,000 Colonial trot for 3-year-old colts in a time of 1:53.1, a stakes, track and world-record equaling time in an 8 1/4-length victory.

"I kicked the plugs out on the backstretch and he really responded well," said driver John Campbell. "Once we straightened out, there was no catching him."

Temple of Doom, with David Miller, was second, followed by Cassis, with Tetrick. The field featured the second-, third-, fourth- and fifth-place finishers from the Hambletonian.

Put On A Show won the $350,000 Valley Forge for 3-year-old pacing fillies in 1:50.1 for the 2 1/4-length victory. The time was a track record. Dancinwiththestarz, with Brian Sears, was second, and Hulas Z Tam, with Pat Lachance, finished third.

Total purses of $2.4 million were awarded in the 14 races.
