Lou Williams and Allen Iverson both missed practice Monday morning.

Williams was absent because of a sinus infection.

And Iverson continues to miss time as he deals with his daughter's illness.

Iverson has missed the Sixers' last three games. He last was on the court on Jan. 31 for the team's win over the Nets.

The Sixers loook to make it five straight Tuesday night at home against the Timberwolves. They then travel to Toronto to play the Raptors Wednesday night before getting five days off for the All-Star break.

Iverson is scheduled to start for the Eastern Conference in Sunday's game.

Iverson has a sick daughter and people continue to make snide comments. Man. Posters on these boards can be really heartless.

This is a place where Allen's past haunts him. He has made many excuses for many years. The Boy who cried wolf - who knows?

A.I.'s family means more to him than the sport, the team, and you racist idiotic philly fans. Some of you need to take notice and be a protector, maintainer, provider for your family. He is with the people who love him unconditionally. Gotta love it, he's laughing at you clowns, and could care less if you don't like it. MY MAN !!!

@ macdaddyzo -> ok pal, when they name you GM, you can set the rules. My question for you: Why do you actually CARE about what happens before and after the game buzzer?? The Sixers have won 4 straight. I want a good show when I watch a game, and that's it. People need to start managing their own business and stop worrying about managing the off-the-court lives of pro athletes.

Why are people suspicious?: Iverson left the Grizzlies on November 7th for "personal matters that forced him to leave the team" after three games on the West Coast, Iverson deciding to "step away from the game at this time, allowing him to focus on those matters," according to the general manager of the Grizzlies. Sound familiar?

Do you really think that AI is that cynical or cares enough about what his detractors think to make up an excuse about his daughter being ill? If AI cares only cares about himself and not the team, wouldn't he simply just quit? He doen's need the money, so I seriously doubt he is bringing bad kharma on his family by lying about his child being ill. Do you think his wife would let him get away with that? You put athletes on these pedestals, but they are humans. if one of your children were sick, and you had enough money to do so, would you not want to be near them to make sure they are OK? AI has provided very well for his family, and now he has the chance to provide emotionally. Anybody remember when Brian Dawkins missed camp? Were you accusing him of lying? Would you agree that AI and Dawk have the same love, passion, and energy for their respective games, despite AI's infamous rant about practice? Did he not play with guts and heart while he was here his first time around? I hope that if this situation happens to you that your coworkers and management would be understanding. Actually there is a law called FMLA that protects people from being fired when family members fall ill.
