Flyers left winger James van Riemsdyk will return to the lineup Saturday afternoon against the visiting Pittsburgh Penguins.

It will be JVR's first game since Jan. 12. He missed 15 games - the Flyers were just 6-6-3 in that span - because of a concussion.

Scouts from numerous teams are at the Wells Fargo Center for today's 1 p.m. matinee.

The Flyers are in fourth place in the East - one point ahead of New Jersey and two points in front of the Penguins.

The Pens will also get a player back from a concussion. Former Flyer Arron Asham, who has missed 13 games, will be back in the lineup.

We have got to find some way to trade Bryz...he is God awful. I pray the amnesty clause is enacted...no way Bryz can be traded.

i agree with you, dave1walsh, Bryz is as capable at stopping the puck as a 2x4 on the goal line. Maybe the Flyers should send both goalies down to AHL for training because they cant get much worse

It's time to send a message to the entire team. You cannot play hard and have goalies continue to give up bad goals. The problem is between the pipes. Not with the forwards and not with the defensemen. Bring up Leighton now and play him. Let their current goalies know their play is not acceptable and let the rest of the team know that management knows exactly where the problem with this team is. IF THEY REALLY WANT THIS TEAM TO KNOW THEY MEAN BUSINESS PUT BRYS ON WAIVERS AND MAKE HIM EARN HIS WAY BACK ONTO THIS TEAM.

JVR comingback is great but with the sieve in net it won't matter much.
