Jon Runyan is in Kansas City, working out for the Chiefs, according to Brad Biggs of the National Football Post.

Runyan has said repeatedly this offseason that he had spoken to multiple teams, but they all wanted to know when his would be ready.

Runyan had been cleared to run, but it looks like he may have now have full clearance.

Pro Football Talk reported earlier today that three teams are interested in Runyan. Per Mike Florio, Runyan turned down a contract offer last week because he didn't want to play for the team that was making it.

We should know shortly if the Chiefs like what they see. If they do, Runyan could have a new home very soon.

Meanwhile, the release for this week's Eagles-Panthers game showed up in my inbox not too long ago. Your announcers for Eagles-Panthers at 1 p.m. are Dick Stockton and Charles Davis.

As for the rest of the Week 1 viewing schedule, those of us in the Philadelphia area Titans at Steelers Thursday night on NBC.

On CBS at 1 p.m., we get Jets at Texans. Jim Nantz and Phil Simms will have the call.

At  4, it'll be Redskins at Giants on Fox with the No. 1 team of Joe Buck and Troy Aikman.

In prime-time Sunday, we've got the Bears traveling to Lambeau to take on the Packers.

And there will be two Monday night games. Bills at Patriots to start us off, and Chargers at Raiders late.

The season is almost here, my friends. Tomorrow we'll have a special guest explaining the Eagles-Panthers line. On Friday we'll have Week 1 picks. And of course, much more in between.

Anyone know a good local bar to hang out at near Bank of American stadium for the pre-game?

J.L.Thompson
Now we will see what the deal is with the team, if we can rattle Delhomme, we will be okay. I am concerned about their running game, what's up with Stewart, is he playing?

Stewart is still hurt J.L.Thompson, I am sure he will be questionable all the way up until the game. Better yet, they just pulled some toll booth guy out of his job to return kicks. The Panthers are not in good shape at all...probably worse off than the Eagles. I actually had this game as a loss, but I think I am changing my mind.
