Wednesday’s South Jersey roundup: Delsea girls’ soccer stays undefeated

The Delsea girls' soccer team kept its perfect season intact with a 2-1 overtime victory over Highland on Wednesday. Peyton Gilmore and Brianna Russo scored goals for Delsea as the Crusaders improved to 11-0.

Angelina Bluford led Pitman with two goals in a 7-4 win over Gloucester Catholic. Emily Bohl, Cameron Cronin, Annie Sanker, Madyson Wehlen, and Emily Williams also scored. Pitman goalkeeper Zoe Weaver made 17 saves.

Summer Reimet scored twice as Ocean City defeated Lower Cape May, 6-0.  Hannah Keane, Delaney Lappin, Kasey McDonnell, and Kelsey White added goals.

Woodstown defeated Pennsville, 2-1, behind goals from Ella Champigny and Sophie Briseño. Ava Lammerse and Bella Briseño picked up assists, and Sadie Boatright saved eight shots.

Amaris Bussie, Reese Evans, Marlene Gonzalez, Adriana Johnston, Angelina Schilling, and Emma Ziegler scored in Deptford's 6-0 win over Paulsboro. Leah Giles added two assists.

Danielle Jeffreys scored twice, and Angela Rosenberger added a goal as Williamstown defeated Hammonton, 3-1. Angela Rosenberger, Miranda Uzdavines, and Jamie DeHaven had assists.

Boys’ Soccer

Andrew Datz and Elijah Miller scored as Salem edged Buena, 2-1. Jordan Presnell chipped in two assists, and Salem goalkeeper Logan Foote made 13 saves. Buena goalkeeper Jake Gugliemlmi saved 19 shots in the loss.

Tyler Tomlin scored one goal and had an assist as Wildwood defeated Clayton, 2-1, in double overtime. Tomlin passed to Will Long for Wildwood's other score. Goalkeeper Dennis Olgun made 12 saves.

Colin Beasley had a hat trick in Atlantic County Tech's 5-1 win over Vineland. Preston Beasley scored one goal and tallied three assists, and Angel Cotto added a goal.

Glassboro defeated Schalick, 3-2, behind goals from Cody Beato, Aaron Harrison, and Gorkem Ozdemir. Harrison, Luke Archibald, and Santino Mancini tallied assists, and goalkeeper Griffin Rogers made eight saves.

Dylan Farracchio scored and added an assist in Williamstown's 2-1 win over Hammonton. Pedro Jovel-Castro scored one goal, and Kyle Norton picked up an assist.

Austin Lovenduski had two goals, and Aaron Osborne and Trevor Owens added scores in Northern Burlington's 4-1 victory over Moorestown Friends.

David Gardner scored twice in Middle Townshp's 3-0 win over Cedar Creek. Gavin Quinn added a goal, and Brendon Bartha tallied two assists.

Cole Gifford and Daniel Strohlein scored as Delran topped Cinnaminson, 2-0.

Field Hockey

Allison Frampton notched a hat trick and assisted on three more goals in Gloucester Catholic's 7-1 win over Pitman. MacKenzie Kane scored two goals, and Madison Franquet and Sara Hussey tallied scores.

Allison Bimmer scored three goals and assisted on another goal as Maple Shade topped Pemberton, 7-0. Morgan Hart scored twice, and Melissa Donaldson and Natalie Doman added goals. Goalkeeper Emma Leone made seven saves.

Clearview and West Deptford ended in a 1-1 tie after two overtimes. Clearview's Kayla Mills and West Deptford's Halle Dreger scored the game's only goals. Clearview goalie Julianna Smith saved 25 shots.

Sierra Guiliano, Abby Hartwell, and Dawn Lombardi tallied two goals in Delseas's 9-0 win over Highland. Sarita Marshall, Madison Visalli, and Erin Collins chipped in goals. Giuliano, Collins, and Hartwell had two assists.

Jordan Carty scored two goals and added three assists as Triton defeated Cumberland, 6-0. Korina Darji scored twice, and Brianna Breen and Alyssa Gargiulo also scored.

Ava Trexler, Juliana Donato, Ralazha Bell, Dominique Rodriguez, and Madison DuBois scored for Schalick in a 5-2 victory over Glassboro. Donato assisted on two goals.

Alexia Poulin and Alexa Thomas scored twice, and Jenna D'Andrea added a goal as Williamstown defeated Hammonton, 5-1.

Haley Bucci made eight saves as Burlington Township shut out Northern Burlington, 4-0. Christyana Kane had two goals, and Kirsten Bailey and Vanessa DiDonato scored.

Olivia Sims and Megan Barbara scored twice to lead Sterling to a 5-0 win over Gateway. Amber Powell scored a goal and added an assist.

Tori Griffiths tallied two goals and an assist in Kingsway's 3-0 victory over Gloucester Tech. Abbie Brown added a goal, and Hailey Ferry and Madison Maguire had assists.

Kaitlyn Cummins, Emily Gallagher, Katie Miller, Julia Patrone, Katherine Walsh, and Erin Wheeler scored as Camden Catholic defeated Winslow Township, 6-1.
