Highlights from Wednesday's sports in South Jersey.

Ygor Lemes scored a hat trick Wednesday, including the game-winning strike in the second half to lift the Burlington City boys' soccer team to a 3-2 win against Medford Tech. Ryan Hacker made five saves for the visitors in the win. Devon Gumaer and Daylan Garlic Jackson each struck in the first half for Medford Tech.

Conner Dix and Pedro Jovel-Castro each scored for visiting Williamstown in a 2-0 win against Cumberland in Tri-County Conference action.

Vincent Petulla's first-half tally lifted Hammonton past Oakcrest, 1-0, on the road.

Tiernan Johnson tallied two goals and Charles Roberts made 10 saves as Pemberton blanked host New Egypt, 2-0, in Burlington County League action.

Schalick got a four-goal second half to edge Gloucester Catholic, 5-1. Hunter Ludwick notched a pair of goals in the win.

Field Hockey

Chelsea Baumiller notched a hat trick to lead Gloucester to a 6-0 victory against visiting Penns Grove. Myranda McCabe, Lauren Pierman and Hailey Ritchie each added a goal. Pierman also chipped in two assists.

Danielle Campbell and Kassidy Kaelin scored a goal each in the second half as Triton edged host Glassboro, 2-1. Yeseniah Ortiz had the only goal of the match for the host.

Karly Henry scored three goals and Alexis Rider chipped in two more to lift Delran past Maple Shade, 7-3, on the road. Madison Aguanno and Nicole Travis each added a goal in the win.

Sophie Popp scored four goals to help Haddonfield down host Sterling, 7-1. Julia Battino, Bridget McCormick and Natalie Naticchia also scored for the visitors.

Abby Hartwell and Dawn Lombardi combined for four goals as Delsea blanked Deptford, 7-0. Nadia Berardelli, Sierra Giuliano and Hannah Hartwell each chipped in a goal in the win. Deptford goaltender Tolu Gureje made 33 saves in the loss.

Girls’ Soccer

Arianna Smith scored the lone goal of the contest in Pennsville's 1-0 win against Pitman. Goalkeeper April Hartman made 13 saves to preserve the shutout.

Julia Carducci and Chelsea Deacon each scored as Palmyra edged Maple Shade, 3-0.

Alexis Tiedman tallied a pair of goals and Jayda Marshall and Sara Weinert scored a goal apiece to lead Clayton to a 4-1 win against Salem in Tri-County Conference action.

Girls’ Tennis

Cherokee got wins in singles from Sanjana Panjala, Sarah Walsh and Katie DeLia to edge Washington Township, 3-2, in Olympic Conference action. The Minutemaids captured both doubles points during the match.

Lexie Wells and Daisy Marrero teamed up in in the first doubles while Clara Fok and Kylee Jones won second doubles. Both matches went to three sets.
