Lance Ware hit the game-winning shot with one second remaining Monday as the Camden boys’ basketball team topped Trenton Catholic, 52-50, on the road. Ware finished the game with 13 points, 14 rebounds and two blocks. Myles Thompson led the team in scoring with 18 points.

Jacob Valeus scored 22 points and grabbed 10 rebounds as Pleasantville edged Washington Township, 60-57, at home.

Coley Holton scored a game-high 24 points for Middle Township in a 54-35 win against host Oakcrest. Mack Selby chipped in 11 points in the win.

Warren Bethea scored 24 points for Camden County Tech in a 86-75 win against visiting Buena. Damon Jones added 21 points and DaVaughn Williams chipped in 17. James Little posted 19 points for Buena in the loss.

Michael Dodd tallied 15 points as Egg Harbor Township edged Deptford, 37-35, on the road.

Dashon Byers finished with 14 points and Little John Green notched 10 as host Millville held off Mainland, 47-44. Gabe Fooks-Michnya led all scorers with 17 points for Mainland in the loss.

Javontae Jones, Jayvon Laster and Kyle Lundy all finished in double figures as Rancocas Valley topped Pennsauken, 87-40. Jones scored 17 points, Laster added 14 and Lundy chipped in 13.

Girls’ Basketball

Lillian Gyamfi and Kylah Watkins combined for 29 points as Westampton Tech defeated Medford Tech, 53-40, on the road. Watkins hit two three-pointers in the contest.

Zaria Spence led Burlington Township with 16 points in a 50-45 win against host Burlington City.

Rachel Quigley posted 22 points as visiting Northern Burlington topped Gloucester, 46-41. Kylar Coughlin scored 17 points and Chloe Bennett added 16 for Gloucester in the loss.
