Game summary

An ace performance by Robert Welhaf lifted CB East to a 9-0 win in seven innings over Quakertown on Tuesday. Quakertown's lineup had no answer for Welhaf who allowed one hit, no earned runs, walked two and struck out eight during his seven innings of work. East blew out Quakertown thanks to 11 hits, including four extra base hits.E.Rode racked up four RBIs on three hits for East. He singled in the second inning, doubled in the fifth inning, and homered in the sixth inning. The lead stayed with East after the first, when it scored one run on an RBI single by Zach Matthews. East added three more runs in the bottom of the second. A triple by Sean Usowski ignited the offense, scoring Rode. East increased its lead with four runs in the sixth. A sacrifice fly scored Vince Careghini. That was followed up by Rode's three-run home run, scoring Matthews and Jake Newcomer.
