Penn Charter nearly earned a tie of the Inter-Ac League title last season, but if the Quakers are to repeat last year's success, they'll need to find answers at quarterback.

Mike Hnatkowsky, now at Muhlenberg, finished his Penn Charter career with Inter-Ac passing records for completions (394), yards (6,172) and TDs (60), according to TedSilary.com.

While seniors Jordan Wilson and Will Samuel battle for the top QB spot, Penn Charter coach Tommy Coyle hopes junior running back Edward Saydee provides stability in the backfield. Last season, Saydee finished with 907 yards on 155 carries (5.8 per attempt). The 6-foot, 172-pounder also added 15 ground TDs, with three more in the air.

In the final two games of the season, the Quakers lost to eventual co-champions Malvern Prep, 35-28, and Germantown Academy, 17-14, after a game-winning field goal by Vince Capone with 2.4 seconds left.
