North Penn's Owen Thomas, a senior tight end and middle linebacker, committed to play at Villanova on Tuesday night via Twitter.

Last season, the 6-foot-4, 220-pounder helped the Knights go 14-1, claim the Suburban One League Continental Conference title, and advance to the PIAA Class 6A state semifinals before losing to eventual champion St. Joseph's Prep.

Thomas, a first-team all-Continental Conference selection at tight end, also received scholarship offers from Air Force, Delaware, Florida International, James Madison, and Monmouth, among others.
